Reflection on 2010

We are almost at the end of 2010. and I sit hear thinking to myself on December 16th at 12:12pm where did the year go.

Do you ever sit back and think about how time seems to be going faster and faster every year.   At first I thought it was just because when you have kids time just become really busy and times seems to go faster.  I think with all this technology we have has really made things appear to be going quick.  Really we still have to same time in the day no matter what we do.

Funny how things seems to go, many fill it with things we think are important but really many of them are not. Over the year I hear and have even said things like I do not have time to (Whatever it maybe). Really I need to pick the most important things and just do them.

While looking back my year a few days ago I was not seeing it as very good like I had done nothing.  No I did not get the things done I really wanted to but I did not give up and I have kept going and picking myself back up when I would fall.

Since last year I have Managed to keep my weight around the same while trying to lose weight. I did not gain any more so that is great.  I took on Homeschooling my daughter.  I  took an adult Hip Hop class over the summer which was amazing ( something I never thought I would do, and hope to do in the new year again). I started a blog, made a few videos (Plan to do a lot more in the new year). I joined the dream project and lost 10 pounds was on stage acting in the show. To joining Toast Masters.  Read some really great books. One really big one was taking the leap of faith and trust when my husband left his job to pursue his passion full time from home.  We have studies and researched many companies which has given us both a lot more direction into what we truly want to do.

Sometimes we sit back and think that we have really not done very much or at least I have taken it as I did not accomplish anything really big. But then I realized that the little things count as well.

What have you accomplished this past year?

What are your goals for the year ahead?

Love always

Weight loss Journey

WOW it’s December 1st.   Where did the time go this year.

It has been a few weeks since I updated and did a video on how things are going with my 90 day challenge.

I am proud to say that taken the shakes has been the easiest thing for me to do instead of having food. I really never thought I would see the day.  I have to admit there are days when we are out running around and I do not always have my second shake.  I realized from this I need to get a good thermos to keep my shakes in when I am out or just change when I have my main meal.   I really try to keep dinner the main meal as this give us all time to eat together most days.

December is a tough month with all the goodies, chocolate and cakes and cookies which we are really trying not to have but sneak in some from time to time.

The works outs have been a challenge, which I am surprised at as I love to work out but I have lost my zest for doing it.  I think that is from being overwhelmed with homeschooling, home school groups. theater, Dance classes I am a little all over the place at the moment. I really have a greater appreciation for teachers, it is not easy and a lot of work and planning.

I have decided to slow down the month of December a bit with the academic work and make it a physical month where we go for walks, run, have Wii fit challenges and set up boot camp in the basement to get us all moving.

I have lost about 2-3 pounds every week but put in back on again on the weekends, so I know I really need to focus on that one and get lots more work outs in through out my week.

Do you find it hard to eat healthy on the weekends?   What kinds of things to you do to keep yourself on track?

Check back in a couple I am going to put up a new video.

Hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful holiday season.

Love always
